This map focuses on the Turkish Empire in Asia, shown the extent of the empire to include Cyprus, Syria, the Holy Land, northern Iraq, Armenia and much of Georgia.

MAPPE TEATRO DEL BELGIO Descritta dal conte Galeazzo Gualdo Priorato

In Francofort, 1683 Opera di Galeazzo Gualdo Priorato (1606 – 1678) storico e scrittore nativo di Vicenza.

La prima parte dell’opera ha tredici ritratti calcografici (nessuno manca).
La seconda parte è tutta dedicata a piantine calcografiche: dovrebbero essere 120. Qui ve ne sono non meno di 80 anche fuori fascicolazione, per ovvie questioni di spazio non posso pubblicarle tutte. L’opera è introvabile completa. Le piantine sono vendute, singolarmente, a una media di 100 – 150 cadauna. Esemplare non fresco. Testo inquadrato da filetti. Qualche raro taglietto, rossori e segni di antico umido. Legatura coeva, in pergamena, con usure e mancanze. pp. (16), 148, (6); cm. 34,5 x 24.
